KITCHEN TAKEOVERS

Palestinian community chefs have been invited to serve food at Kriterion again, starting with Sufra Gazawia by Salma on Friday, 10 October. All proceeds go to Salma's family in Gaza, who she regularly supports with food events. Last year, the PFFA held a fundraiser film screening to help evacuate Salma's sister to Egypt, and in June she generously donated her time to our first 2025 PFFA fundraiser at Studio/K.

On Sunday, 12 October, Tabaria Café returns to the Kriterion kitchen for a second time. Launched in 2023 by Fatima Mahmoud, Tabaria Café is a pop-up café driven by a desire to reconnect with her roots and to provide a safe space aiming to preserve Palestinian food culture. Last year, the Tabaria Cafe team kindly volunteered to support the first PFFA fundraiser at Studio/K.
